1993 – US Green Sports begins work on Super Bowl XXVIII in Atlanta - the first pro sports event in America to address environmental impact. 
 
1994 – Georgia Dome, site of Super Bowl XXVIII, becomes the first pro sports facility in the country to implement solid waste recycling
 
2002 – US Green Sports expands the NFL environmental projects to Pro Bowl in Hawaii, the annual NFL All-Star game.
 
2005 Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville US Green Sports initiates the NFL's first urban forestry project - now an integral part of each Super Bowl community program. 
 
2007 –US Green Sports negotiates first renewable energy deal to power Super Bowl event venues and activities
